About Kerstin & Natalie

Natalie & Kerstin were brought together at the age of 14, both the new kids in school, which automatically meant "friends"!  And that they became.  They knew from a young age that they would eventually start a business together and would chat late into the evening about their dreams to do so.

Finally after years of building careers in other industries they both were lead in the direction of photography.  Natalie went to school for 3D animation & graphic design and although that taught her quite a few necessities , it wasn't what she loved.  Simultaneously, Kerstin has always had a love for photography and dappled with it a lot through out her early 20's, eventually investing in some high end equipment and investing a ton of energy learning everything she could and shooting weddings along side wedding photographers as a second shooter.

This in turn got Natalie's mind turning and she eventually invested in the proper equipment as well.  Finally, after 12 years, their high school vision began to come into fruition and they were on the same wave length with their business vision, both attributing skill sets that have helped Nomad by NK bloom.

Photography has grown into a passion and both Natalie & Kerstin have found their dream career path.

We believe that the most beautiful shots are the moments when the subjects aren't aware a photos being taken.  The candid shots of natural memories.  We also have the modo "anything for the shot".  We will climb a 30 foot tree, scale a cliff or force ourselves into the splits on order to get the best angle or photo composition.

Your wedding day will be one of most memorable days of your life.  A ton of thought goes into every detail and we want to be sure to capture everything from the name tags you hand made to the moments of your dress being done up, you staring in the eye of your love as you say your 'I do's'.

These photos will be on the stairwell wall of your great grandchildren.  So we want the photos on your special day to reflect a candid still of who you really are, during moments you aren't even aware we are capturing.
